The first of two open application sessions for Habitat-Roanoke's Homebuyer Program begins May 1st!
Come to one of six orientation sessions and have all of your questions answered, with the first session May 1st at the Roanoke ReStore.
“You can expect an overview of the entire homebuyer program, what each stage entails, the application process and how to complete it. Then, we will go over the documents that they need to submit with the application, and then go over the deadline,” said Habitat-Roanoke’s Family Services Director, Joyce Williams.
The application window runs from May 1st through June 12th at 4pm.
For the first time in five years, Habitat-Roanoke held a week long “Women Build” event, which drew nearly 100 women volunteers who contributed more 700 total labor hours toward a house that will soon be home to a large extended family.
St. John’s Episcopal Church and Second Presbyterian Church are once again joining forces with Habitat for Humanity in the Roanoke Valley, launching the second chapter of their shared homebuilding effort, “Build it Together.”
