For the first time in five years, Habitat-Roanoke held a week long “Women Build” event, which drew nearly 100 women volunteers who contributed more 700 total labor hours toward a house that will soon be home to a large extended family.

For the first time in five years, Habitat for Humanity in the Roanoke Valley is hosting a Women Build event in 2024. The month-long event is set for May, with a focus on Women Build Week scheduled for May 6th-11th.

Habitat-Roanoke has kicked off a new sponsorship opportunity meant to specifically address the health and well-being of children that occupy its historic renovations.
